Places gone, past times




Iako daleko od kuće, danas sam sa svojim prijateljicama uz lagani ručak koji sam pripremila, proslavljala slavu svoje porodice, dan Svetog Marka. Moram da priznam da me ovakvim danima nostalgija za porodicom i prijateljima u Beogradu stigne svom silinom i jedva se savladam da ne sednem u prvi avion i dođem kući. Srećom, prijatelji koje imam ovde, uspevaju da me svojom pažnjom i ljubavlju zadrže u pesku Emirata...

Budući nostalgična i moj današnji izgled bio je omaž prohujalom vremenu. Osamdesete i devedesete su modni period koji naročito volim. Farmerke i šortsevi s dubokim strukom su među mojim omiljenim odevnim predmetima i danas sam kombinovala ovako...



Even though far from home, today, with light lunch that I have made I celebrated with my friends day of my family’s saint - Saint Marko’s Day. I have to admit that on days like this one the nostalgia that I feel, for my family and friends from Belgrade, is hitting me with such intensity and I’m putting so much strength to overcome the urge to get on the next flight home. Thankfully, I also have some good friends here who manage to hold me in the sands of Emirates with their love and kindness...

Being so nostalgic my today’s look was a tribute to times long gone. 80’s and 90’s are fashion periods that I am particularly fond of. Jeans and shorts with high waist are among my dearest garments and today I combined this way...
